BICYCLE EL REI DE LA MAGIA

Limited edition Bicycle deck based on "El Rei de la Màgia", the oldest magic shop in the world placed in Barcelona (Spain). Inspired by the historical imagery of the shop. You will find references to the different logos and stamps, the magicians who owned it, and Joan Brossa, one of the greatest Spanish artists of 20th century. Also include a special commemorative card and gaff cards to complement your magic tricks!

Produced by the United States Playing Card Company.

The vintage Barcelona magic shop artwork on the tuck box is gorgeous, way nicer than the usual standard deck. Shuffles smooth and the limited print run makes it feel like a genuine collector's piece rather than something mass produced.

The Barcelona magic shop theme really comes through in the artwork, especially on the tuck box. Cards fan smoothly right out of the box, though I wish the finish held up a bit better after a few nights of shuffling.

The court cards have this detailed old-world illustration style that sets them apart from a standard deck. Only gripe is the tuck box feels a bit flimsier than I'd like for a limited edition. Still, they shuffle smooth right out of the box.
