The crushed stock makes these shuffle like butter right out of the box, way smoother than standard decks. The slightly curved borders give the back design a nice framed look when fanned out. Only thing is the thin cards pick up fingerprints fast, but I don't mind wiping them down.
The 1970s Japanese magazine collage on the face cards is such a cool touch, I keep noticing new little details during games. Shuffling feels smooth right out of the box, and the slightly curved borders give them a nice worn-in look without actually being worn.
These shuffle like a dream right out of the box, no breaking-in period needed. The crushed stock is noticeably thin but still snaps nicely on a riffle. Only gripe is the curved borders on the back make fans look a little uneven at first.
